Join us for the 7th Annual Palace City Kiwanis Half Marathon starting and ending at the World’s Only Corn Palace!

We have a goal in 2024 to have a runner from every state! Can you help us?

Proceeds from the Palace City Kiwanis Half are used to fund programs through the Kiwanis Club of Mitchell including Girls on the Run, Kiwanis Woodlot Park, Kristi Arnold Memorial Inclusive Playground, Little Library Books and much more.

The Half Marathon course takes you on a tour around Lake Mitchell where you’ll be cheered on by spectators, friends and family. Once you’ve completed the loop, you’ll take a spin around Cadwell Park before coming back downtown to cross the finish line in front of the World’s Only Corn Palace. There will be water stations approximately every two miles or less with multiple portable toilets along the entire route. Prizes awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers as well as top person in each age group.
