March in Florida’s Treasure Coast is consistently beautiful, making early March a great time to host the Marathon of the Treasure Coast Half Marathon.
Race weekend consists of a full marathon, half marathon, and relay that takes runners on a tour of Stuart, Florida, along the water, providing runners with a tour of beautiful south Florida. Runners start at Memorial Park in downtown Stuart before running west, turning onto the Boardwalk Run, and continuing east toward Sewall’s Point. After making a loop around Sewall’s Point and traversing the bridge across St. Lucie River, the finish line is just a few miles away, passing a cemetery and several residential streets before crossing the finish line.
If you’re not ready to run the marathon or half marathon, the event also offers a relay of the full marathon, in which up to four people can participate. Or if you are up for a challenge, the Treasure Coast Half Marathon also offers the TC challenge for runners ready to take on multiple running events over multiple weekends.
Both the marathon and half marathon courses are open until 1 PM, giving walkers plenty of time to complete the half marathon course.
