This is a charity race held along on the historic C&O Canal Towpath two miles west of Georgetown in Washington DC. All proceeds go to support girls’ education in rural Himalayas in Nepal and in Kenya at Mercy School.
Finisher Medals, Great shirts, DJ music and awards follow the race at the Fletcher’s Boat House! Light refreshments, bananas, power bars, bagels. Water and Coffee for all runners at lower level.
Beautiful time of year along the Potomac River in Washington, D.C. and trail that runs along the scenic historic C&O Canal! Open to all! Thanks to the awesome running community!
