Finishers receive a Beer City Sacramento shirt, a finisher’s medal (the Key to Beer City!) and two tastes of Drake’s delicious beer. Runners also get VIP access to the Beer City Festival which opens at 11am and is a separate ticket. Tasting packages are available at checkout.

Beer City Sacramento starts and finishes at Drake’s Barn in West Sacramento.

The half marathon runs out and back along the River Walk Trail, under both the Tower and I Street Bridges. On your return, you’ll cross to the East side of the River on the Tower Street Bridge. The course then follows and out-and-back on the East side. There is aid approximately every 1.5 miles, consisting of water, sports drink, and gels. Watch this space as we add complete detail with aid placements and intermediate distances this Fall. The 10k Course is an out-and-back course that takes you across the Tower Street Bridge and along the East side of the Sacramento River. The turn-around is on the bike path. The 5k Course is an out-and-back that takes you across the Tower Street Bridge and along the East side of the Sacramento River. The turn-around point is at the end of the bike trail

Join us along with Drakes Brewing Company at The Barn in Sacramento as we kick of Beer City Sacramento with a run on the Riverfront, through West Sacramento, and south along the American River Bike Path. When you get home we will be there with tastes of Drake’s for finishers as well as non-alchoholic beverages and snacks. Stick around for the Beer City Festival, with dozens of brewers joining in the celebration.
