The race starts and finishes at Area 1 within the park, and runners will complete two loops covering a total distance of 13.1 miles. The course is a mix of single track and wide trails, and is relatively flat in elevation, making it a fast and scenic race. The natural surfaces are well-marked to ensure that participants stay on track and don’t lose their way. The race route includes two water stations that will serve both water and Gatorade to runners. Water Station #1 is situated at mile 3 and mile 9.5 on the looped course, while Water Station #2 is located at the start/finish line, marking the start of the second loop for half marathoners. Note that all runners must reach mile 6.55 (the start of the second loop) by 11:03 AM, and those who do not meet this requirement will not be allowed to continue on the course.
