This point-to-point race takes participants on a breathtaking journey along the Blackwater Canyon and Allegheny Highlands Trails, from Thomas, WV to Mill Race Park in Parsons, WV.
The trail features a variety of surfaces, including pavement, dirt, and crushed stone, offering a dynamic and engaging running experience. With a descent of about 1400 feet, runners will be treated to stunning views and exhilarating downhill stretches throughout the course. The race begins at 9:00 am on the rail trail below First/Front Street in Thomas, WV, with the finish line awaiting participants in Parsons, WV.
To ensure convenient access to the race start, a bus will depart from Parsons to transport runners to the starting line in Thomas at 8:00 am.
